In the early 2000s, Janus was a pioneering force in Scandinavia’s electronic music landscape, producing over 100 standout events under the name R.I.B. Promotion. From iconic Copenhagen venues like Amager Bio, Vega, Pakhus 11, Halvandet, Pumpehuset, and Den Grå Hal, to underground gems such as Sputnik, Bastionen, Operaen and Studiestræde 3, Janus helped shape an era of euphoric dance floors and unforgettable nights.

As booking manager for Funkstar De Luxe, Janus was instrumental in bridging the gap between Danish talent and the international stage. His bookings read like a who’s who of electronic and alternative legends: John "00" Fleming, Kasey Taylor, Eat Static, Hallucinogen, Astrix, Public Enemy, Trentemøller, and Infected Mushroom — among many others.

Beyond his own events, Janus collaborated with promoters across Denmark, Sweden, and Germany, providing expert artist booking and lineup curation that brought cutting-edge sound to a broader audience. Whether orchestrating immersive all-night parties or intimate concerts, Janus’s deep knowledge of the scene and instinct for atmosphere set him apart.

Though R.I.B. Promotion is no longer active, its legacy lives on — a testament to Janus’s visionary role in the rise of Northern Europe’s electronic music culture.
