Biography

Janus Freeman is an international EDM composer and DJ rooted in the European trance and progressive scene, now bringing a fresh, high-energy sound to the Philippines.

Before moving to Asia, Janus was a key force in Denmark’s EDM music culture from the late ’90s to 2010 — organizing hundreds of major trance events across Scandinavia and performing at festivals in Germany and throughout Europe. From 2001 to 2005, he also worked as the co-founder, distributor, and editor of Clubbing Magazine, one of Denmark’s earliest and most dedicated platforms for electronic music. During 2001–2002, he further expanded his industry expertise as booking manager for Funkstar De Luxe .

In 2010, Janus shifted fully into music production under the project Saint Janus, releasing two chill-out EPs and one full album, with tracks later featured on more than 40 international compilations.

Now returning to the stage with a renewed vision and an evolved sound, Janus delivers peak-time sets with high-impact, high-octane EDM built for intensity, energy, and unforgettable moments — pushing the next wave of electronic music into new territories across the Philippines.
